People buy from those they know, like and trust.

This step is where you ensure that you have won the trust of your prospect and they feel they have an authentic relationship with you and your company. This entails much more than just giving “references” and showing a list of clients, although those are definitely included. This is about removing any unspoken barriers that might stand between you and your prospect deciding to do business together.

NOTE: If you are doing your job of selling well, then much of this step may already have been accomplished!
